EXTINGUISHING MEDIUM: As appropriate for
combustibles in area
NOTE:
AIRO/SHINE Glass Cleaner is non-flammable per the DOT flame extension
test.
FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD DATA
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES:
Although non-flammable, this product does contain a flammable propellant and
firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus when fighting fires
containing or around this product. Shut
off all sources of ignition, if possible.
Keep containers cool with water spray to prevent rupture. Ventilate area. Evacuate all non trained personnel. Wear full protective clothing including
helmet. Contain spill and dike, if
possible. For leaks and spills that have
not ignited, water spray can be used to disperse the flammable vapor and
protect personnel attempting to stop the leak.
Do not use direct stream of water because the flammable portion will
float and can be reignited.
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS:
Firefighters should wear SCBAs in a positive
pressure mode with full face shield. The
flammable components are heavier than air and may travel long distances and
accumulate in low areas or spread along ground from handling site. Eliminate all sources of ignition as vapor
may ignite. Carbon oxides may be
formed.

HEALTH HAZARD DATA
EFFECTS OF OVER EXPOSURE
EYE CONTACT: Direct contact with the
liquid or mists or overexposures to the vapor may be irritating causing
tearing, stinging, redness, and swelling.
SKIN CONTACT: Repeated or prolonged
contact may cause mild skin irritation resulting in redness, burning, drying,
and cracking of the skin. Persons with
pre-existing skin disorders may be more susceptible to the effects of this
material.
SKIN ABSORPTION: Not likely when used as
directed.
INGESTION: Not likely as an aerosol, but
ingestion of excessive quantities may cause irritation of the digestive tract
and signs of nervous system depression such as (headache, drowsiness,
dizziness, loss of coordination and fatigue.
INHALATION: Prolonged, repeated, or
intentional abuse may be harmful or fatal.
Effects of overexposure may include irritation of the nose and throat
and signs of nervous system depression:
headache, drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination and fatigue. Overexposure may cause respiratory symptoms
associated with pre-existing lung disorders, asthma-like conditions, to be
aggravated.
SYSTEMIC AND OTHER EFFECTS: None
known.
NOTE: When used as directed no adverse
affects have been found in laboratory testing with humans.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES
EYE CONTACT: In case of contact,
immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water. If irritation or other symptoms persist, call
a physician.
SKIN CONTACT: In case of contact, wash
with soap and water. If irritation
occurs call a physician. Wash clothing
before reuse.
INHALATION: If affected, move person to
non-contaminated air fresh air. If
breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician immediately if symptoms
persist.
INGESTION: Ingestion is not likely as an
aerosol but, if ingested, do not induce vomiting. Give one to two glasses of water. Keep victim's head below hips or on left side
with head down. Call a physician or
poison control center immediately. Never
give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do not leave victim unattended.
