SECTION FOUR - FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD DATA (continued)
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS:
Firefighters should wear SCBA in positive pressure mode with full face
shield. The flammable components are
heavier than air and may travel long distances and accumulate in low areas or
spread along ground from handling site.
Eliminate all sources of ignition as vapor may ignite. Carbon oxides may be formed.
SECTION FIVE -
REACTIVITY DATA
STABILITY: This product is stable, avoid open flames and high temperatures (above
120°F) and direct sunlight.
INCOMPATIBILITY: This product could react vigorously with
oxidizing materials.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS:
Carbon dioxide, fumes, smoke, carbon monoxide, sulfur oxide.
HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not
occur.

SKIN ABSORPTION: No evidence if skin
absorption occurring.
INGESTION: Considered low order of toxicity.
INHALATION: Overexposure could cause respiratory tract
irritation. Negligible hazard at ambient
(-18 to 38C) or recommended blending temperature. Avoid breathing vapors or mists.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES
EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes
with water for at least 15 minutes. Make
sure each eyelid is lifted to allow complete rinsing of solution. Consult physician promptly.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing and completely
wash exposed areas with soap and water.
Wash clothing before wearing.
INHALATION: Remove person to fresh
air. If breathing has stopped, give
artificial respiration. If breathing is
difficult, give oxygen. Call physician
immediately if symptoms persist.
INGESTION: Unlikely, as an aerosol, but
if ingested do not induce vomiting. Give 2 full glasses of water. Keep victim’s head below hips or on their
left side with their head down. Call
physician or poison control center immediately.
