INHALATION HEALTH RISKS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE:  Negligible hazard at ambient temperature (0 to 100°  F, -18 to 38°C).  Avoid breathing vapors or mists.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS GENERALLY AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE:  NA

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES

INHALATION: Using proper respiratory protection, immediately remove the affected victim from exposure. 

Administer artificial respiration if breathing is stopped.  Keep at rest.  Call for prompt medical attention.

 

SKIN AND EYE CONTACT:

EYES:  Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 min.  If irritation persists, get medical attention immediately.

SKIN:  First aid is normally not required.  Wash exposed skin completely with soap and water.  Remove grossly contaminated clothing, including shoes, and launder before reuse. To remove hot product from skin, immediately immerse in large amounts of cold water to dissipate heat and reduce extent of thermal burns.  Solid product may be removed from skin with pharmaceutical grade mineral oil or food grade vegetable oil.  If irritation occurs consult a physician.

 

SECTION VII- PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE

 

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED:  Eliminate sources of ignition.  Prevent additional discharge of material if possible to do so without hazard.  For small spill implement cleanup procedures and, if in public area, keep public away and advise authorities.  Prevent liquid from entering sewers, watercourses, or low areas.  Contain spilled liquid with sand or earth.

 

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:  Dispose in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding pollution.

 

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING:  Keep away from heat, sparks, or open flame.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION:  Usually not required if it is used as it is described on the label.
