EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES:

INHALATION:  Using proper respiratory protection, immediately remove the affected victim from exposure.  Administer artificial respiration if breathing is stopped.  Keep at rest.  Call for prompt medical attention. 

INGESTION:

Do not induce vomiting.  If conscious, give two (2) glasses of water.  Get immediate medical attention.

 

SKIN AND EYE CONTACT:

EYES:  Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes.  If irritation persists, get medical attention immediately.

SKIN:   Wash with soap and water.  Remove contaminated clothing.  If irritation develops, get medical attention.  Launder contaminated clothing before reuse.

 

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED:  Eliminate sources of ignition.  Prevent additional discharge of material, if possible to do so without hazard.  For small spill, implement cleanup procedures and, if in public area, keep public away and advise authorities.  Prevent liquid from entering sewers, watercourses, or low areas.  Contain spilled liquid with sand or earth.

 

SECTION VII- PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE

 

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:  Dispose in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding pollution.
