INHALATION HEALTH RISKS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE:  Negligible hazard at ambient temperature (0 to 100°  F, -18 to 38° C).  Avoid breathing vapors or mists.  Irritation to nose and throat, sneezing and coughing might occur at high concentrations.

Eye contact may result in irritation and redness .

INGESTION:

If ingested, do not induce vomiting; call a physician immediately.  May result in nausea or stomach discomfort..

SKIN:

Prolonged and repeated contact can defat the skin which may result in dryness, dermatitis, and cracking of the skin.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES:

INGESTION:  DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.  If conscious, give two glasses of water.  CALL PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY.

INHALATION:  Using proper respiratory protection, immediately remove the affected victim from exposure.  Administer artificial respiration if breathing is stopped.  Keep at rest.  Call for prompt medical attention.

 

SKIN AND EYE CONTACT:

EYES:  Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes making sure to raise the eyelids during washing to ensure thorough removal of contamination. If irritation persists, get medical attention immediately.

SKIN:   Wash thoroughly with soap and water.  Remove contaminated clothing.  Reuse only after cleaning.

 

SECTION VII- PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE

 

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED:  Eliminate sources of ignition.  Prevent additional discharge of material, if possible to do so without hazard.  For small spill, implement cleanup procedures and, if in public area, keep public away and advise authorities.  Prevent liquid from entering sewers, watercourses, or low areas.  Contain spilled liquid with sand or earth.

 

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:  Dispose of in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding pollution.

 

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING:  Keep away from heat, sparks, or open flame.
